Frequently Asked Questions
We want to make your experience as seamless as possible! Please review the following commonly asked questions that we receive.
When should I book my event?
Most folks book smaller parties (like birthday parties with 20 children or less) 4-6 weeks in advance and large parties 8-12+ weeks in advance. Holiday weekends and holidays are extremely popular thus causing most folks to book at least 12+ weeks in advance to help ensure artist availability. We will take short notice bookings if we have artists available but recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure artist availability. The sooner you can book the better as we, like most companies, DO NOT hold or reserve any artists, days, or times until booking is confirmed. Therefore all artists are available for anyone to book until a confirmed booking has blocked out on their schedule.
Do I pay an hourly rate or a per child/guest rate?
All of our services are an hourly rate unless they are a type of performance, like a magic show, which can be as short as 20 minutes and as long as an hour. All performance services (magic shows, jugglers, fire performers, etc) are in front of an audience and can therefore serve any number of guests at an event. All of our non-performance services (face painting, balloon twisting, glitter tattoos, henna tattoos, etc) on the other hand have a limited number of guests per hour that they can serve. Clients are therefore charged an hourly rate for these services and each service can serve anywhere between 10-20 guests per hour depending on the service.
What are the pricing, fees, and discounts offered?
Each service has it’s own standard retail pricing rates for the first hour of a service and/or the first artist a client hires. We then offer a multiple artists and/or multiple hours discount for those who hire several artists and/or hire an artist for multiple hours. We also offer a non-profit discount and large event bulk pricing. Please call or message us for a quote.
What is the typical process for working with a new customer?
First we try to get a good feel for our clients wants and needs. We share our experiences with similar events to theirs and answer any questions they may have. Then we make some recommendations and give them some options that would best suite their event. When clients are ready to book they’ll be asked to fill out our booking form which is a list of questions of all of the information we’ll need (like address, confirmation of day/time of the event, contact number in case of emergencies, etc) in order to book the event and write up their invoice. After acquiring the information we’ll write up and email an official service quote document (the invoice) to them. Once we received the document back signed and a deposit then and only then is booking considered confirmed. We do not hold or reserve any artists until booking is confirmed and therefore recommend confirming your booking as soon as possible to ensure artist availability.
How many guests is too many?
We have a large amount of artists and thus can provide services for anything from small birthday parties (6 guests or more) to very large events (1,000+ guests). The larger the event the sooner we recommend booking to ensure artist availability.
How many guests is too little?
Many of our artists are cross trained so if you’ll have a party with 8 guests or less we can provide your guests with 2 services (both done by the same artist) within one hour.

Do you do services for less than 1 hour?
All of our performance type services (magic shows, jugglers, fire performers, etc) have shows times that can range from as short as 20 minutes to as long as 60 minutes. All of our non-performance services (like face painting, balloon twisting, glitter tattoos, etc) however have a 1 hour minimum for booking. If a party will only have 8 guests or less though then and only then we will still require a 1 hour minimum but will allow the hour to be split up into 2 different services that will be provided by the same artist.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We’ve worked with individuals for private parties (small to large birthday parties, community block parties and events, weddings, family reunions, holiday parties, etc) corporate companies and local businesses (grand openings, anniversaries, employee appreciation, customer appreciation, holiday parties, etc), churches and non-profits (church events, camps, cancer walks, fundraisers, etc) professional and children’s sports teams (theme game nights, awards ceremonies, large tournaments, etc), schools (dances, holiday parties, open enrollment, etc) and more!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions! Especially when dealing with products that go on your skin (like face paint, henna, and glitter tattoos). Unfortunately their are a lot of people out there that don’t know what to use or how to use it and end up using BAD PRODUCTS! We have personally seen people in this area using unsafe products and know for a fact that not everyone is insured and/or an actual LLC or Corp company. This is why we often talk about our products so much. We use only professional grade products and have trained professional staff who know how to use them and how to flow the best hygiene practices possible while providing our different services.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It’s important to know how many guests you think will want a service (like face painting or balloon twisting). This is because each artist can only serve a certain amount of guests per hour and you want to make sure there is enough time for everyone. My clients think “my party/event is 2 hours long so I need 1 face painter for 2 hours” instead of “I’ll have about 60 guests at the party and about 40 will be children who will want their faces painting. So how many face painters will I need to accommodate 40 guests in 2 hours?”. It’s important to always think about the number of guests first and then work from there. By doing this you can ensure that everyone who will want a turn will get a turn within the a lotted time.
